Abstract
Analysis of molecular genetic methods of research and microbial contamination of the air environment of poultry premises was carried out. It was found that the strengths of these methods are their ability to detect species that cannot be cultivated, as well as species that have low numbers. It has also been found that the presence of high levels of molds, yeast and mycotoxins in the air of poultry farms can lead to various bird diseases. To combat this, numerous options are proposed, for example, antimicrobial treatment.
