Abstract

The results of assessing the quality of tap water of the centralized drinking water supply system in Chelyabinsk for 2022-2023 and the efficiency of using a household flow filter to clean it. The variability of the mineral composition, the periodic non-compliance of water quality with the requirements of SanPiN 1.2.3685-21 in terms of the Fe content and the level of hardness, have been established. The high efficiency of purification of tap water from Fe, Li, Pb, Sn, Cu, Al ions by the water purifier tested for 1,5 years was revealed. Lower productivity in the filter operation is determined to reduce the levels of sulfates, fluorides, polyphosphates, hydrocarbonates and its alkalinity in water, inefficiency – in relation to Cl, Cr, K, Si and water hardness.
