Abstract

The article presents the results of the study of the acute toxicity of the whitewash disinfectant and disinfection agent «Penox–1», which includes: 20% slaked lime with the addition of 3% sodium chloride and 5% foaming agent (any brand) to the solution. Acute toxicity was studied on white mice with a live weight of 20 ± 2 g in a vivarium for keeping laboratory animals of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory of the Republic of Dagestan. It was found that with single injection into the stomach of the drug «Penox-1» Ld50 was 4000 ± 215 mg/kg. Solutions of 12.1.007.76% slaked lime with the addition of 3% sodium chloride and XNUMX% foaming agent for each XNUMX liters do not have a negative effect on the body of white mice. It was found that the solutions of the drug «Penox-XNUMX» are classified according to GOST XNUMX as moderately dangerous (XNUMXrd class)
