Abstract

The article analyzes the development and prospects of the economy of joint consumption (ESP) or “sharing economy” on a global scale, and in the Russian Federation, in particular, in the context of digitalization. The author considers the main sectors of ESP and evaluates the basic features of “sharing services”, on the basis of which the advantages of ESP services are revealed in comparison with the services of the traditional economy for consumers in modern conditions. As a result, the main features of Russia are identified that allow the transformation to ESP.
