Abstract

The article discusses the structure of modular calculations, as well as operations performed on numbers represented in the system of residual classes. The system of residual classes has a high potential in the field of error correction. This allows you to effectively apply it to combat errors that occur during the transmission of information through communication channels and during its processing in digital information systems. Natural parallelism of RNS is an effective means for presenting information in a distributed form, which can be used to build fault-tolerant data storage systems, as well as threshold data access structures.
