Abstract
The article discusses the history of the concept of the fourth industrial revolution, characterized by the introduction of "cyberphysical systems" in factory processes and transport systems. The basic principles of the concept of the fourth industrial revolution are substantiated. The main technologies of Industry 4.0 are considered.
