Abstract
The Russian Federation is one of the richest in prosperous agricultural land. Despite the fact that Russia has vast territories, a significant part of which is located in the middle lane and suitable for agricultural activities, not all lands used in this direction 30 years ago are used in the agricultural sector today. This is due to several factors, among which are the features of the development of the Russian Federation, the unattractiveness of the agricultural industry for investment, and high risks, which in turn are also a consequence of many reasons. This article discusses the main causes of the situation, identifies the existing problems and the possibilities of solving them.
