Abstract

The concept of truth in the task of generating new knowledge plays a key role. Truth is, in fact, an additional coordinate that brings a new quality to our knowledge. It is so important that the main difficulty in generating new knowledge lies most likely not in the very formulation of this knowledge, but in the proof of its truth. Truth has a number of properties that allow it to be studied, thereby giving the opportunity for its practical use. If the well-known formulations of truth according to Aristotle and according to A. Tarski are combined in a single formula, then as a result it becomes possible to measure truth and, therefore, to control it. This circumstance should be used in tasks of artificial intelligence.
