Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of improving the state management of innovative processes in the economy. This issue inherently includes two independent and simultaneously interconnected problems of practical economics. On the one hand, the effectiveness of the implementation of the innovation process is directly dependent on the quality of government support measures (organizational, regulatory, financial, etc.) in this area. On the other hand, the actions of economic authorities that are not focused on the application of innovative solutions in the economy are obviously doomed to poor performance. The article contains a description of the situation in the innovation sphere, an exposition of a system of incentives that force state authorities to pursue an innovation policy, as well as an author’s vision of ways to establish interaction between economic authorities and the innovation sector based on the application of the spatio-temporal principle of organizing the innovation process.
