Abstract

The article analyses the process of IT project management from the point of view of the general theory of socio-economic systems management. Analysis is carried out taking into account such features of IT projects as the refinement and correction of the requirements and content of projects throughout the implementation period, the constant change of project tasks priorities, the influence of human factor on the timing and quality of project implementation, scheduling difficulties and rationing the work of IT specialists in the lack of uniform regulations and standards. The main problems that lead to the violation of the project implementation deadlines, to a large number of errors in the developed software, and to a non-compliance of the received software product with the customer's requirements are identified. An integrated systemic approach to solve the problem of improving the efficiency of the IT project management process is proposed, based on the use of evolutionary modeling to form project teams and distribute their participants to project tasks, as well as a multi-level quality control method for performing project tasks is suggested
