Abstract
The paper considers approaches to solving the problem of organization of control and management of States of uncertainty of various parameters. One of the main steps in solving the problem is to select objective criteria and characteristics for quantifying these States. Based on the review of available approaches to the description of States of uncertainty, an approach based on the use of concepts and methods of the theory of entropy potentials is chosen. Using the corresponding characteristics, the basic principles and algorithms for organizing control and management of these States in various situations and task options are developed. The implementation of the proposed solutions will help to improve the efficiency of management in conditions of uncertainty, which is relevant in the light of increasing requirements for the quality of research and improve the competitiveness and quality of products in various production areas
