Abstract

The article discusses the concepts of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and neurocomputers in order to understand the principles of their operation. The analysis of the directions of their application in modeling with justification of practical use is carried out. Descriptive methods were used to form an understanding of artificial neural networks, their structure, classification, algorithms and learning paradigms, as well as to indicate the need for their use by considering the advantages of ANN. The diagrams illustrating these or those processes are given.
