Abstract

Considerable attention is paid to the measurement of indices when assessing and monitoring the state of complex systems. The variety of indicators used to determine the indices of the state and development of such systems and, as a rule, the diversity of data and knowledge about them necessitate the improvement of methods and means of measuring indices. In addition, the definition of indices in real practice is implemented in conditions of significant a priori uncertainty. The article suggests using Bayesian intelligent technologies and the Infoanalytic platform as a means of their implementation to create index models and measure them. An example of measuring indices of regional specificity for a number of regions of the Russian Federation is considered.
