Abstract

Some aspects of knowledge management in the context of managing complex systems are considered. The purpose of the study is to determine the most convenient forms of knowledge visualization at the early (initial) stages of the study of complex realworld situations that practically cannot be formalized. A single process of constructing conceptual (soft) models is proposed, integrating several types of models: rich pictures, mind maps, conceptual maps, mess maps. This approach to knowledge visualization can be applied in various fields both for solving applied problems and for conducting scientific research.
