Abstract
Throughout life, a person repeatedly faces the diversity and complexity of various systems, structures, problems and tasks. Trying to choose the most optimal and effective way to solve a particular problem, to develop a strategy for further actions or management of something, people tend to simplify complex things to simpler and more understandable tasks. But this is not always the right decision. When we try to solve a problem in a part of the work team, in any production process, or structural unit, in most cases we consider the problem only from one side, we do not pay attention to the fact that the object in question, being a system, can also be part of a larger system and the changes that we can make in a certain structural unit may negatively affect the work of the entire organization as a whole, despite the fact that the decision taken separately for this unit seemed appropriate. It is to avoid such mistakes that it is necessary to develop system thinking and use the principles of system analysis and modeling in solving problems, including in the management sphere.
