Abstract

The article discusses the history of the creation and development of artificial neural networks. The relevance and necessity of classification of factors affecting the development of a neural network is revealed.
The authors analyzed the history of neural networks. Based on the analysis, the key factors that influenced the rapid periods of development and sharp periods of falling interest in artificial neural networks were identified.
