Abstract
The cognitive technology of supporting human intellectual activity in complex management situations is considered. The proposed technology includes the sequential iterative construction of conceptual models connected in a single cycle. The support of cognitive processes is expressed in the possibility of a gradual reduction of uncertainty and the formation of understanding of the essence and content of the complex situation under study by the subject of management. Through visualization of the key components of the situation, such characteristics of understanding as depth, clarity and completeness are formed. This technology contributes to the formation and application of systems and critical thinking.
