Abstract
The authors explore the topic of accident rates in field pipelines. To increase the efficiency of using the results of inline diagnostics, the authors have developed a decisionmaking technique that, based on an analysis of identified defects, allows one to identify the most suitable type of repair, including taking into account their relative position. The use of the methodology in preliminary planning of work makes it possible to optimize the schedule of repair work and reduce the cost of operating pipelines.
