Abstract
The turbulence of the global economy, caused by largescale external influences on it (the COVID19 pandemic, the hybrid war between Russia and the West in Ukraine), poses the task of managing the sustainability of the enterprise, understood from the point of view of international research as resilience, to business owners and their top management. The purpose of this article is to propose an approach to assessing and ensuring the sustainability of a company based on the fuzzylogical formalism of the industry Rlens and the "wind rose" associated with this lens. The Rlens is positioned in the "stability – efficiency" coordinate space and is a fuzzyparabolic function. The stability is analyzed based on the fuzzy logic matrix aggregate calculator (MAC) technology to obtain a stability index (RI) in the range from 0,1 to 0,9. The efficiency of an enterprise is assessed by the return on equity (ROE) indicator. The enterprise is a representative point in the RIROE phase space, which moves along the "wind rose" of 8 main directions. The exit of the imaging point beyond the lens means a loss of stability in a positive or negative value. The distance from the imaging point to the lens boundary characterizes the level of risk of loss of stability: the lower the distance, the higher the risk. Three industry lenses are considered within the framework of the industry conglomerate of the international manufacturing industry: metallurgy (DJ27), mechanical engineering (DK29), light industry (DB). Industry codes comply with the European industry classification standard NASE 1.1. The consequences of the movement of the enterprise's representative point in each main direction within the "wind rose" are assessed. Measures for strategic positioning of enterprises taking into account industry anisotropy are proposed. Strategic positioning of enterprises in relation to industry Rlenses opens up broad opportunities for strategic planning of enterprise activities, while the designated positioning itself is the basis for strategic goalsetting. Behind each planned movement of an enterprise within the "wind rose" there is a set of measures that ensure proper goal achievement. A subsequent transition from the form of a strategic plan to the form of a traditional management budget is expected.
