Abstract
This article is devoted to the problems of rational use of land. The Earth as a natural object and natural resource occupies a unique position in the entire system of entrepreneurial activity of people and society as a whole, due to its not reproducible nature and multifunctional purpose. The object of land relations is a land plot - part of the surface of the earth, the boundaries of which are described and certified in the prescribed manner. Land in agriculture is a universal means of production. On the one hand, it acts as a means of labor, on the other hand, as an object of labor. Labor embodied on earth is the wealth of society, bearing in itself not only the satisfaction of needs, but also its independence.
