Abstract
In the context of the financial crisis and the country's budget deficit, the completeness and timeliness of the accumulation of mandatory payments to the budget, which can be achieved by creating an effective tax administration system, is of particular importance. The article assesses tax administration in the Chechen Republic; The results of an empirical study to determine the quality of tax administration are presented and directions for its improvement in Russia are proposed.
