Abstract

This article discusses issues related to the main directions of development of agriculture in Kyrgyzstan. In accordance with the agricultural reforms of the Kyrgyz Republic and in a market economy, livestock farming is developing in the private ownership of peasant farms. At the same time, there are a number of difficulties in achieving the effectiveness of the effective organization of the activities of such enterprises, in the formation of mechanisms corresponding to market relations. The main ones are the following. For example, in horse breeding, 98% of all farms are small peasant (farmer), private or individual farms. Due to the poor state of their material base, the small area of distributed land, the rupture of various economic ties after independence, the lack of specialists on the scale of farms, etc., it is not possible to organize highly productive economic activities. On the contrary, the level of industrialization that previously existed in some horse farms has been lost; these farms, currently using primitive production technology, are moving into the natural type. One of the main problems of this state of affairs is that the issue of organized sale of horse farms products in the external and internal markets has not yet been resolved. All the aforementioned shortcomings also occur in other sectors of the small business economy. In addition, the corresponding economic sphere for entrepreneurship in horse breeding has not been created, issues of state support for the development of this type of entrepreneurship are not considered and addressed.
