Abstract

The BRICS group, consisting of five powerful states located on different continents of the world, attracts attention of many political scientists and economists who are trying to assess its potential. The purpose of this article is to study and analyze the economic relations built between the BRICS member states and the integration associations of the post-Soviet countries: the CIS and the EAEU. This topic is of great scientific interest in view of the significant shifts and changes taking place in the global financial space, which are pushing the world community to alter the existing architecture of the world economic system.
