Abstract

The boundaries between the real and the digital world are rapidly blurring. Rapid digitalization is changing the environment. Digital technologies are increasingly influencing the way people perceive, think about, and interact with its ecosystems. It also changes the way we communicate with each other and the actions we take on environmental issues. But, as with any change, new questions arise. The use of technology creates many practical problems and un-intended consequences for the environment.
