Abstract
The article examines the main indicators that determine the level and quantity of life of the population. Approaches to assessing the standart of living of the population, social groups according to the standart of living of the population were considered. The features of the human development index, gross domestic product per capita and the Gini index are presented and consid-ered. The properties of integrity and multidimensionality in the calculation of indicators that determine the level and quantity of life of the population were identified and substantiated in the article.
