Improving the financial reporting of organizations in the digital economy

Abstract

The article considers the impact of digitalization of the economy on the improving of financial reporting, methods of processing, indicators of fi-nancial reporting, the process of analyzing and verifying reporting information, input information required for financial reporting forms, output information con-taining reporting forms and operational information used when working with fi-nancial reporting. The interrelation between the development of the digital econ-omy and the provision of the necessary qualitative characteristics of financial reporting is substantiated. The possibility of facilitating the work of professional accountants due to a machine-readable form of financial reporting is justified.
