Abstract

The article examines the features of taxation in Ancient Russia. The author examines the formation of the taxation system in the early stages. The researcher analyzed the types of tax payments in Ancient Russia, gave them a description. It is fairly noted that the first state formations of Ancient Rus were tribal communities based on the natural way of doing the economy, which de-termined the natural forms of taxes and duties.
