Abstract
The article presents the major trends in the development of in-novation and industrial engineering. In this aspect, the main changes in the en-gineering services market caused by digital transformation of society are con-sidered. In the context of the development of virtual reality and augmented re-ality technologies, the need for engineering organisations to improve their own tools used to provide services in order to meet the growing needs of economic interest groups in innovation has been identified. This allows not only to increase productive and financial efficiency of businesses where innovations are being introduced, but also to reduce costs and increase profits of organisations using new technologies in the provision of engineering services.
