Abstract

The article examines the main provisions of the current state and trends in the development of higher professional education and educational services in Kyrgyz Republic. With the acquisition of independence of Kyrgyz Republic, the national education system has undergone a number of transformations and changes. The transition to a market economy caused an objective change in the approaches and attitude of society and the state towards higher professional education. What caused the opening of a large number of universities: from 9 universities in Soviet times to 64 – now, both public and private. In the context of the integration and globalization of the world, the issues of training highly qualified specialists become a priority and play a priority role in the development of the country’s economy.
