Abstract

The ecological crisis in the energy sector is a process that arose when the demand for energy resources became significantly higher than their supply. The energy crisis dates back to the pre-industrial economy. In view of the urgency of this problem, mankind is still solving the issue of the constantly growing level of resource consumption, which is due to a sharp leap in the development of technology. The active extraction of non-renewable natural resources leads to their sharp reduction. The 1970s of the last century are considered to be the starting point of the global energy problem, then the era of cheap oil was rapidly coming to an end, and the shortage of this product provoked a crisis in the economic situation. This problem did not seem so serious because in the 1970s a sharp jump in the level of oil consumption was not predicted. The second major diffi culty these days is the complicated process of oil production, which has led to a jump in price. Previously, natural resources lay on the surface, but today it is necessary to seriously increase the depth of mines, gas and oil wells.
