Abstract

In the modern conditions of the formation of the penitentiary system of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the most urgent is to solve the problem of stimulating and motivating convicts to work in the general system of managing labor adaptation. The issues of motivation and stimulation of convicts to work are fundamental elements of the methodological foundations of managing the labor processes of convicts in institutions executing punishment. As L. S. Vygotsky notes, a motive is a reaction to a stimulus in the process of formation of motivation, while the motive is an internal conscious urge to action, the stimulus is a set of personal value aspirations to acquire certain benefits.
