Abstract

This article examines the specifics of the activities of Russian firms in the context of digitalization. The author defines the concept of firm, describes its types. Statistical data on the number of types of enterprises are given: micro-enterprises, small enterprises, medium-sized enterprises, large enterprises. Also, an analysis is made of the number of organizations and their territorially separate subdivisions in the Russian Federation in the context of types of economic activity.
