Abstract

Every year, a huge number of foreign students arrive in the Russian Federation, which, of course, is an indicator of the stable prestige and quality of the educational services provided. The migration policy in relation to foreign students is annually transformed and stimulates the flow of applicants; simplifies the process of obtaining a temporary residence permit, and then a residence permit for foreigners - graduates of Russian universities. We note the significance and anticipated results of this positive and dynamic growth in the legal migration system. However, modern political and economic realities annually reveal shortcomings even in the most sophisticated migration systems.
