Abstract

In the modern world, the activities of the IMF are crucial for the global monetary and financial system. Many states consider their cooperation with the IMF a priority, as it can guarantee not only a high position in international economic relations, but also the issuance of borrowed funds on favorable credit lines. The IMF’s credit mechanisms are diverse and are provided for countries with different income levels, but many economic experts criticize the IMF’s credit mechanism, believing that credit lines for developing countries are characterized by strict and difficult conditions, which cannot be said about credit lines for developed countries.
