Abstract

The socio-economic development of any region is the basis for the security of the population of this territory and their economic well-being, both on the scale of the subject itself and on the scale of the country as a whole. The article assesses the socio-economic development of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, also analyzes the human potential index and its components on the scale of the subject itself and Russia as a whole.
