Abstract

This article is devoted to the historical aspects of the origin and development of the great Naimans, as well as some of their national features. The choice of the topic and direction of research in this article is dictated by the lack of a systematic presentation of the ethnic traditions of the Kyrgyz people in the socio-cultural sphere in the Kyrgyz historiography, which serves as an obstacle for the modern generation in the issue of an integral perception of their own traditions. The study of the ethnic traditions of the Kyrgyz people is one of the important and at the same time complex scientific problems. The importance of this topic lies in the fact that ethnic traditions have exceptional viability. Having arisen at a certain stage of historical development, having gone through a difficult, thorny path, they can transform, adapt to new conditions and remain relevant.
