Abstract

The article investigates the problem of legal regulation and transformation of female labor in the context of stereotypes and gender discrimination. The study of historical prerequisites and justifications, scale and social consequences of segregation from the point of view of sociology, modern legislation and economic theory demonstrate the clear relevance of the question in the field of employment. New challenges for female labor dictate the consequences of a new coronavirus infection, digitalization and a sharp increase in migration flows, which will adapt to the regulatory provisions of individual countries of the world. The conclusion is concluded that at the moment the inequality of not only powers, but also the result of the realization of opportunities between men and women are observed in all areas of society. However, in the field of labor legislation, on July 18, 2019, an attempt was made to improve the list of professions that did not meet the trends of the new time in any way, limited or completely prohibited by domestic women. On the one hand, the order of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation has clearly reduced the list of spheres approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of February 25, 2000, on the other hand, there was an external formal «game» with multi-digit terminologies, as well as subspecies of the same sphere Employment. The very phenomenon of female employment seems unique due to the double load of the fair sex with their unpaid labor in order to arrange everyday life, difficulties in employment, as well as a possible loss of qualification due to child care. Throughout the stages of development, the institution of the state with an eye on historical and international experience is trying to eradicate the external manifestations of discrimination, based on both the reform of the legislation and the effectiveness of the justice system. Women, in turn, are trying to independently counteract the horizontal gender segregation and the problems of the «glass ceiling» express their provisions aimed at implementing the principle of equal rights and freedoms, as well as creating equal opportunities for their implementation in all areas of society.
