Abstract
The presented article reveals the concept and types of taxonomy, the possibility of using this method in economics. It is suggested that economic taxonomy can be understood in broad and narrow approaches. It is noted that today the state considers taxonomy as a tool for building technological sovereignty and the transition to structural adaptation of the economy. This mechanism undoubtedly has prospects, but will it be effective in a few years?
