Abstract
This article examines issues related to managing the development of the production potential of industrial sectors of the Kyrgyz Republic. In market conditions, the development of scientific and technological progress, which led to a new round of socialization of production of the entire world system based on the formation of transnational monopolies and integration unions, created qualitatively new conditions for international relations. These conditions expand opportunities for cross-country technology exchange and the development of specialization. Thus, the search for a system of mechanisms for adapting our economy to world economic relations should not be limited solely to the mechanisms of appropriate adaptation. Based on this strategic guideline, the main task of the processing industry in the coming years is the priority development of the industry as a sector of the domestic economy, which, in terms of its significance, reveals the internal potential of the national economy to the greatest extent.
