Legislative framework for regulating women’s labor in Kyrgyz Republic

Abstract

The article analyzes accepted human rights standards and, in particular, international labor rights, and assesses their state in the Kyrgyz Republic. Currently, the Kyrgyz Republic has managed to formulate developed national legislation on gender equality, which contains both specialized and general laws, including provisions on gender equality and protection from discrimination in one or another area of life. The Law “On State Guarantees of Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities for Men and Women” introduces the concepts of gender, gender discrimination (direct, indirect), gender policy, gender equality, gender equality, gender stereotypes, gender analysis, domestic work, equal opportunities.
