Abstract
This article draws the following conclusions: firstly, state financial control, which plays an important role in ensuring the functioning of the state, can also be considered as one function: social management and legal regulation. Secondly, control activity as a specific form of government activity has its own functions: elimination of deviations, analysis, adaptation, social prevention, law enforcement. Thirdly, state financial control and financial control are not identical concepts.
