Abstract

Annotation. This article is devoted to the specifics of the protection and processing of personal data on the Internet. The relevance of the research topic is related to the fact that in modern society there is a fairly active growth of digital technologies. The article emphasizes the importance of ensuring the confidentiality and security of personal data, especially considering possible threats such as hacker attacks and information leaks, and the subsequent various measures to protect personal data that can be applied on the Internet. Analyzing the current legislation, the author comes to the conclusion that the regulatory legal framework requires improvement, as well as new measures to protect personal data, since currently new ways of stealing personal data are emerging, completely new relationships arise that require an integrated approach to solving emerging problems.
