Abstract
The article reveals the issues of forecasting legal phenomena, which helps to develop legislation, i.e. to anticipate potential changes in society and adapt legal norms to changing circumstances. Statistical forecasting methods play a key role in modern legal society. They not only contribute to improving the effectiveness of law enforcement, but also help to prevent crime and improve the management of legal processes.
