Abstract
The article characterizes the features of aviation education in the formation of foresight technologies. The composition of technical and technological features is revealed, reflecting the need to develop in graduates of aviation universities the ability to acquire new knowledge and skills in using information technology in aviation. The formation of universal engineering competencies and applied competencies is noted as an independent direction of the competency-based approach in aviation education to improve the research training of aviation specialists. The author presents in tabular form the relationship between the increasing requirements for the level of preparedness of specialists and the need for continuous improvement through the introduction of e-learning tools and digital technologies in the educational process. The importance of focusing knowledge, skills and individual characteristics on ensuring flight safety is indicated. The article emphasizes the need to maintain the required level of training of aviation specialists, which is implemented through the functioning of the system of continuous professional education created in the industry and developing in modern conditions.
