Abstract

The article provides statistics on the development of smart cities in Russia. The assessment was carried out according to 47 indicators divided into 10 areas: urban management, smart housing and communal services, innovations for the urban environment, smart urban transport, intelligent public and environmental safety systems, tourism and service, intelligent social service systems, economic condition and investment climate, as well as communication network infrastructure. Statistics on the development of smart cities in Russia show that Russia lags behind world leaders, which is why active efforts are required to improve the situation.
