Abstract
The article discusses the problems and prospects of the development
of the Russian credit market. The author analyzes the main components
of the Russian credit market, such as commercial loans for business, mortgage
lending, car loans and consumer non-targeted loans. The state of the credit
market depends on the state of the economy and the policy of the Central Bank.
Possible measures to regulate debt collection activities and the formation
of the institution of a public mediator of the financial system (financial ombudsman)
are discussed.
