Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of modern approaches to the development of creative thinking and creative abilities in primary school children. The purpose of the study is to identify the most effective methods and techniques that contribute to the formation of creativity in younger schoolchildren. The paper examines the psychological features of the development of creativity in primary school age, analyzes existing programs and methods for the development of creative potential, and evaluates the role of various types of activities in this process. As part of the study, the results of the practical application of the techniques developed by the author were analyzed, which showed a significant increase in the level of creativity in children of the experimental group compared with the control group. The results obtained are of practical importance for primary school teachers, allowing them to use effective methods to develop the creative abilities of their students. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the development of a comprehensive program for the development of creativity, taking into account the age characteristics of younger schoolchildren and integrating various types of creative activities.
