Abstract

In this paper, we will talk about the social development of students during online learning. During the discussion, the potential opportunities for students’ socialization, their key features, positive and negative aspects will be considered. Given the rapid development of information technology and, in particular, distance learning, we can talk about the relevance of the chosen topic.
The article highlights the basic skills and abilities formed in the online learning process and their social significance. It is said about the importance of organizing the educational process, because thanks to the arrangement of a comfortable and favorable learning environment, the effectiveness of learning in general increases significantly, which directly depends on the development of social qualities in students, such as sociability, mutual assistance, cooperation and much more.
