Abstract
The article examines the issues of spatial transformation of the Russian Federation. The key provisions of the strategy of spatial development of the Russian Federation are revealed and the existing problems are identified. The author identifies factors influencing regional dynamics and assesses promising vectors of territorial growth. The key challenges and expected consequences of the influence of spatial development factors are grouped in a table. The central place is given to issues of an integrated approach to spatial policy aimed at reducing interregional disparities, increasing the investment attractiveness of peripheral territories and ensuring balanced economic development of Russia as a whole.
