Abstract

Objective. The article is devoted to the study, analysis and assessment of the role of large international companies at various stages of the formation and development of the Russian market for business professional services.
Materials and methods. The study of the activities of large international companies in the Russian market in the period from 1991 to the present made it possible to identify functions that are characteristic of large international companies in the Russian market of business professional services during the transition from an administrative-planned economy to a market economy.
Result. As a result of the study, two groups of functions were identified: stabilizing functions and developmental functions.
Conclusion. The study of the activities of large international companies in the Russian market of business professional services showed that the activities of large international companies contributed to the creation of conditions for the consistent and dynamic development of the Russian market of business professional services, which allowed it to quickly become an efficiently functioning element of the infrastructure complex of the Russian economy.
